Saturday 16th August - 10:30 to 3:30pm - The Church in Rodley
What to Expect...
You will spend the morning making a sample curtain (a mini curatin). You will use this sample to learn the different techniques needed to make a whole pair of curtains.
Learn how to measure so it fits your window perfectly and all the professional finishes to make them hang beautifully.
The afternoon sees us making a small sample roman blind with wooden dowel rods. We learn all the correct measurements and different ways to measure to add different styles to your blinds. Then on to threading the strings so your blind will lift and fall with ease.
Our Curtain & Blind Making Course gives you the skills and confidence to make your own beautiful curtains & blinds to enhance your home. You will never need to buy window dressings again!
All the techniques you learn will be detailed in hand-outs with step-by-step instructions for you to refer back to and make your first pair of curtains with confidence.
All materials you need will be provided. Please bring your own sewing machine, if you don't have one just contact us and I will reserve one for you to borrow.

The classroom is at the top of a set of stairs and so is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
We have access to small kitchen facilities and toilets.
